Less than 10 years ago, Paul Bishop and Alan Heart were living normal lives.
They were both married with children, and to the outside world, they were just two gentlemen fulfilling the roles expected of them as men.
But behind closed doors, Paul and Alan loved nothing more than dressing up in women’s clothes and living life as their female alter egos.
Now called Jenny-Anne and Elen, the couple live together in Rhyl, and have absolutely no regrets about their switch in lifestyles – and wardrobes.

What A Difference A Year Makes
Back in May 2008 I wrote a TransGriot post entitled ‘Destruction of the Black Transwoman Image.
In that post I pointed out that transwomen have some of the same problems as our cisgender sisters when it comes to Black womanhood. I also lamented in that post the lack of positive trans role models of African descent.
Just three months after I wrote that, things started to change.
