Conversas às Quartas
As "conversas às quartas" é uma iniciativa da ILGA. Todas as quartas`há discussões sobre variados temas. Esta quarta-feira o tema será " Transexualidade na 1ª pessoa". Flip e Santorini são os convidados (enquanto membros do GRIT). Não haverá nada preparado, uma vez que a ideia é interagir com os participantes e criar uma conversa.
O objectivo é proporcionar uma conversa tendo como base o seu testemunho onde as pessoas possam fazer perguntas (por mais disparatadas que sejam) e possam reflectir sobre alguns assuntos relacionados com a transexualidade.
Como é a primeira sessão sobre o tema, decidiu-se falar sobre experiências pessoais, para que, antes de mais, a transexualidade tenha uma cara e um coração. Todos estão convidados a aparecer podendo participar dando o seu testemunho ou apenas assistir.
A intenção é dar continuidade a estas conversas ao longo do ano, trabalhando depois mais aprofundadamente outros temas mais específicos como sendo o processo clínico ou a situação legal em Portugal, etc.

Eunuchs audition for national beauty pageant
For once, they were in the bridal finery and others were clapping. The aptly chosen venue, a marriage hall in Indira Nagar, was where auditions were held on Sunday to pick finalists as they sashayed down the ramp for ‘Nazaaqat’ an all-India pageant for eunuchs to crown the most ‘gorgeous kinnar’ in the grand finale in Goa in February. Reaching Lucknow, which is among 10 cities where the audition is taking place, were candidates from across Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
