October is Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender History Month, a concept founded in the 1990s by teachers and community leaders, including the National Education Association. Just as we have Black History Month and Women's History Month to focus on the accomplishments and stories of courageous individuals who've persevered in the face of discrimination, this month students, teachers and the public are encouraged to learn about inspiring role models and a community whose stories are often overlooked or misunderstood.

Contre la psychiatrisation des transsexuelles

La transsexualité relève de l'identité de genre ; elle implique le souhait de corriger son corps qui ne correspond pas à l'identité de genre par laquelle il se définit (female to male, F to M, ou male to female, M to F). Une personne transsexuelle a la nécessité de vivre dans l'identité qu'elle revendique, ce qui implique la plupart du temps une hormonothérapie et des interventions chirurgicales.

Bem, parece que houve alguém que se picou. E vai daí, toca a lançar mais um chorrilho de disparates contra o outro dos seus alvos de estimação, moi. E como nem sequer me conhece, toca a inventar e a misturar com as (muito) poucas verdades que sabe sobre mim. Se calhar com tanta imaginação como quando descreve hipotéticos factos da sua vida. Reconheço que são bem escritos, eu própria já passei por cenas assim ou parecidas. Mas, e como a sua suposta transexualidade continua no segredo dos Deuses, salvo na escrita, eu continuo a duvidar dela. Tanto como as suas ex-amigas do CCP (Crossdresser Clube de Portugal) (Oops, já me pegou a mania das indiscrições, chatice...). Mas pelo trabalho que deu escrever aquilo tudo, e como não sou mázinha e quero partilhar as experiências da blogosfera, basta clicarem AQUI que vão lá ter. E já agora comentem (coisa que não fazem muito aqui, apesar de temas bem pertinentes que chegam de lá de fora) para que não sejam sempre as mesmas pessoas a deixarem lá comentários. Jinhos.
