Infelizmente estamos a atravessar uma conjuntura socioeconómica mundial que se está a reflectir a todos os níveis, em todos os países. Portugal não é excepção e, na situação actual, os direitos das minorias, entre as quais os das pessoas LGBT, estão uma vez mais a ser tomados por muitas/os como secundários.

No entanto, não podemos nem vamos voltar a submeter-nos ao esquecimento, à marginalização e à guetização nas suas formas mais brutais. Continuamos a exigir o respeito pela diversidade e a erradicação de todas as formas de discriminação, com vista a uma sociedade mais justa e igualitária.

Todas e todos percorremos caminhos diferentes, mas na 7ª Marcha do Orgulho LGBT convergiremos mais uma vez em torno de um objectivo comum. Por isso convidamos-te a estar presente no próximo sábado, dia 7 de Julho, às 15:30h na Praça da República, para voltarmos a encher as ruas do Porto, juntas e juntos na luta por um mundo melhor.
