Las personas transgénero sufren discriminación y trato inhumano y degradante
Los países europeos están violando los derechos humanos de las personas que intentan cambiar su género legalmente; así lo afirma Amnistía Internacional en un informe que ha publicado hoy. En él, la organización explica con detalle que las personas transgénero están obligadas a someterse a invasivas intervenciones quirúrgicas, esterilización, terapia hormonal y evaluaciones psiquiátricas para poder cambiar su situación jurídica.

Só porque no meu RG constava um nome masculino", conta ela, que prefere não revelar o nome de batismo. No fim do ano passado, após vencer uma ação judicial, ela conseguiu mudar nome e gênero.
