Brasil: Autorizada construção 3.ª central nuclear de Angra

A construção da terceira central nuclear do Complexo de Angra dos Reis, no Brasil, projectada há 21 anos e que deverá estar pronta em 2014, foi autorizada, anunciou hoje o Instituto do Ambiente brasileiro, que deu a «luz verde».

La Audiencia Provincial de Vigo, una vez conocido el veredicto del jurado popular, que está obligada a acatar, ha condenado a 20 años de prisión al autor confeso de la muerte de dos chicos homosexuales a los que asestó hasta 57 puñaladas, aunque lo ha hecho por un delito de incendio. La sentencia también lo obliga a indemnizar a la aseguradora. La sentencia lo absuelve por la muerte de los dos chicos debido a los eximentes de “legítima defensa” y “miedo insuperable”, tal y como dictaminó el jurado.

City leaders reject discrimination resolution

The Moscow City Council has voted down an attempt to amend the city's nondiscrimination policy to cover transgendered people.
The council voted 5-1 to change the city's employment policy to ban discrimination based on gender expressions or identity.
