Just try to ignore them as any other street beggars. You can hear the words that you have never heard or imagined and witness some unpleasant scenes too.
Hijras (eunuchs) in India are asserting their rights in contrast to the early years. Though it is agreeable from the humanitarian point of view, there are arising some serious concerns behind it. They are getting violent at times and causing traumas to other citizens.

El cambio de sexo, 'tema de salud pública'

Por disposición de tres jueces, el Estado ecuatoriano estará obligado a financiar la atención médica de cambio de sexo, cuya resolución no incluye la adopción de niños de parejas homosexuales. Tras defender la decisión de la Tercera Sala de la Corte de Pichincha, el juez que redactó su texto, Ramiro García Falconí, calificó al fallo como un avance en el reconocimiento de los derechos humanos de las minorías del país.
