INAUGURAÇÃO:
Saúde em Português encontra-se a desenvolver o Projecto Aguarela – Plano de Iniciativas para o Combate à Discriminação pela Orientação Sexual e Identidade de género que visa promover a sensibilização e informação da sociedade em geral e de públicos-alvo específicos sobre questões relacionadas com a orientação sexual, identidade de género e os direitos da população LGBTI, promovendo a sua integração. Paralelamente está em funcionamento o Gabinete de Apoio Aguarela, que presta apoio psicológico, social e jurídico à população LGBTI e suas famílias [2ª a 6ª feira, Telemóvel: 926 848 028 (das 9h00 às 20h00) - E-mail: gab.aguarela@saudeportugue s.org].
Saúde em Português apresenta, neste contexto, uma Exposição de Fotografia, da autoria do fotógrafo Pedro Medeiros, na qual estão expostos um conjunto inédito de retratos de mulheres e homens, Lésbicas, Gays, Bissexuais, Transgéneros, Transexuais, que no seu quotidiano diário e associativo lutam pela defesa da sua orientação sexual e pelo direito à Identidade de Género.
Entre as mulheres e homens que dão o rosto por este projecto encontram-se membros das associações ActiBIstas - Coletivo Pela Visibilidade Bissexual; Grupo Transexual Portugal; ILGA Portugal - Intervenção Lésbica, Gay, Bissexual e Transgénero; não te prives - Grupo de Defesa dos Direitos Sexuais; Opus Gay - Obra Gay Associação; Panteras Rosa - Frente de Combate à LesBiGayTransFobia; PortugalGay.pt; rede ex aequo - Associação de jovens lgbts.
Esta exposição é constituída por um portefólio de 14 fotografias [retratos a preto e branco] onde estão representadas as mulheres e homens que são o rosto deste projeto: Ana Cristina Santos, Hélia Santos, Luciana Moreira e Vânia Costa; António Guarita; António Serzedelo, Bruno Magina; Eduarda Santos; Helena Braga e Violeta Pereira; João Paulo; Lara Crespo; Luís Reis; Miguel Guerreiro; Morgana of portugay; Sara Marques e Cátia Patrício; Sérgio Vitorino; Tomás Carvalho.
Em conjunto com estes retratos é apresentada uma instalação fotográfica com o título “Natureza”, também de autoria do fotógrafo Pedro Medeiros, onde estão incluídos depoimentos escritos de todas/os as/os retratadas/os.
A inauguração desta exposição terá lugar a 17 de Maio, Dia Internacional de Combate à Homofobia e Transfobia, pelas 15H00 no CAPC - Círculo de Artes Plásticas de Coimbra (Rua Castro Matoso, 18) e estará patente ao público até 28 de Junho de 2014 (Terça-feira a Sábado: 14h00 às 18h00 - Entrada Gratuita).
Tendo em vista a criação de um projeto global de consciencialização e sensibilização social, Saúde em Português apresenta em simultâneo uma campanha de arte pública, a decorrer de 17 de Maio a 30 de Junho de 2014. Esta campanha pretende divulgar as imagens e depoimentos escritos que integram a Exposição de Fotografia. Para o efeito recorrer-se-á a vários suportes de publicidade exterior nomeadamente, através da colocação de cartazes (mupis 175x120cm) em mobiliário urbano da Câmara Municipal de Coimbra.
