Primeira gayleria nasce em Lisboa
A bandeira do orgulho gay (arco-íris) à entrada não engana. Nem as fitas vermelhas à porta ou o foco – vermelho também – apontado à bica de Santa Catarina, em Lisboa, mesmo em frente. Podia ser um simples bar gay, mas é mais do que isso: ‘O Bico’ é a primeira gayleria a abrir em Portugal. Sim, leu bem: GAYleria.Lá dentro, os quadros expostos em originais cordas de aço presas por porcas que se enrolam nas canalizações mostram homens... com homens. Corpos nus, sexo entre iguais. As mesas, cadeiras e portas – e puffs – têm formas explícitas... de falos.

Pour la "reconnaissance des droits des couples homosexuels" , "une loi contre la discrimination au travail" : cinquante associations et partis politiques de gauche et une trentaine de chars ont défilé samedi 16 juin à Rome lors de la Gay pride. Trans Injustice in Philly
Erika Keels lost her life on March 22nd after someone pushed the trans woman from their car, backed up and proceeded to run her down four times. Horrified witnesses reported the incident to the Philadelphia police. Though police identified the alleged perpetrator, they’ve done nothing to seek justice, according to Philadelphia’s KYW Radio News.
What’s more, the department declared Keels’ killing an “accident”. When Keels’ trans comrades raised the issue, police turned their backs.
