Um transexual de 29 anos, que mora em Bauru, conquistou na Justiça o direito de mudar seu nome e o sexo em todos seus documentos pessoais sem que tenha se submetido à cirurgia de redesignação sexual. Pela sentença, o transexual, que nasceu com sistema reprodutivo feminino, passará a ser oficialmente chamado pelo nome masculino, o qual é conhecido desde a adolescência. A decisão, considerada inovadora, foi divulgada ontem pela Defensoria Pública do Estado de São Paulo, que impetrou a ação de retificação de registro civil.

Cher’s daughter undergoing sex reassignment
Chastity Bono, the child of Cher and Sonny Bono, has started the process of becoming a transgender individual.
A rep for the gay rights advocate and writer confirmed Bono is undergoing the process to go from female to male.
“Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity,” rep Howard Bragman said in a statement.
