[Blog/Comentario] Transexuales, Fuerzas Armadas, Concordatos y fascisteclesiásticos

I was so desperate for a sex change I did it myself
An ex-soldier was so desperate to become a woman he performed a DIY sex change operation on himself.
When Roland Mery, a 61-year-old, married, father-of-four from Newport, was told he had to wait two years for gender reassignment surgery he decided he had no option but to do the job himself.
Telling his wife of 23 years, Julie, that he had a headache, Roland took some painkillers and headed for the family bathroom. Using a home-made surgery kit, he removed his genitals, losing two pints of blood in the process.

Novel about Transsexual Banned for Under-18s
The Prime Ministerial Board for Broadcasts/Publications Harmful to the Underaged has decided that the book "Third Class Woman" (Üçüncü Sınıf Kadın") written by Anıl Alacaoğlu cannot be sold to under-18-year-olds and cannot be advertised.
The book, so the author, is about "the loves, sexual experiences, separations, discrimination and problems experienced by a transsexual from childhood into their twenties."

Search for a suitable boy
Kalki Subramanian is young, educated and liberated. She is searching for a suitable boy, “one who is loving, compassionate, educated but not necessarily rich and most certainly an Indian.”
Kalki, a transgender and an activist, knows it’s a tough search and has now set out to help other transgenders like her by setting up an Internet matchmaking portal, which will be launched later this month. The challenge, she says, is to find a “liberal man, willing to raise a family with transgender women who are now left with no choice”.

Transsexual tells of how sex work led to HIV
She looks older than her 19 years and is pencil-thin.
Fatin (not her real name) is fidgety and plays with her sweater while she furtively looks around to see if anyone nearby is listening in.
It doesn't matter that the interview is being carried out in a poorly-lit corner of a religious school compound at her village in Johor.
The orang asli transsexual is cautious at first and speaks quietly.
But as she warms up, Fatin, who was confirmed HIV-positive last year, lets her guard down. She says she also suffers from tuberculosis.

(Foto)
