El presidente del Congreso, José Bono, se mostró hoy partidario de"eliminar" cualquier tipo de discriminación "por razón del sexo" en las Fuerzas Armadas sujetándose al ordenamiento constitucional y al "sentido común", en referencia al artículo legal, vigente desde 1989, que impide a un transexual sin órgano genital masculino pueda ingresar en los Ejércitos de Tierra y del Aire, la Armada, los Cuerpos Comunes de la Defensa y la Guardia Civil.
