Foi há 25 anos que partiu. No vídeo de cima explanou de maneira exemplar um sentimento que compartilhei vezes sem conta com ele. No vídeo de baixo explanou também de maneira exemplar uma maneira de pensar muito comum em Portugal.

Saudade.

Trans Rights Go Global
May was an historic month for the transgendered around the world.
The issue of transphobia was inscribed on the global LGBT agenda thanks to new initiatives from the International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO). The effort includes a global petition campaign in favor of rights for the transgendered aimed at the United Nations, the World Health Organization (WHO), and governments around the world, which has already resulted in major changes in the status of the gender-variant citizens of several countries.

T is for Trans
One of the things I’ve found hardest to resolve during my transition from male to female is that I don’t fit the mould of a typical transsexual. I’ve always liked playing sports, chasing girls and other stereotypically masculine activities. I’ve seen Transamerica and The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert but didn’t identify with the transsexual protagonist in either story. The whole “woman trapped in a man’s body” thing never fully explained the feelings within me.

Born in male body, Jenny knew early that she was a girl
Henry Joseph Madden was a good student and track team member in high school, but he had a secret: He sometimes wore his mother's pantyhose and underwear under his clothes.
"I really wanted to be a girl so bad, and that was one way for me to satisfy those feelings," Madden said. "I always felt like someone was looking over my shoulder."

Gender Fabulous
Some of my best friends were transsexuals.
Actually, only one. Back in the seventies, Liz Eden, whose life was redacted in Dog Day Afternoon, befriended me.
