Transphobic Attack in Ankara: "I will stab more transvestites"
On 8 February 2016 around midnight, 2 trans women faced a transphobic attack in Seyran Baglari Street in Ankara where they work as sex workers.
The perpetrator attacked two trans women with stab. Berna and Hazal were wounded by stabbings.

The perpetrator threatened killing trans women.

Following the incident, Berna and Hazal were moved to the hospital for first aid. After medical treatment, two trans women went to the police station to file an official complaint about the transphobic attack. The perpetrator was detained following the official complaint at police station.

The transphobic perpetrator in his statement in the police station said: "I do it for pleasure. I will stab more transvestites."

Berna and Hazal does not suffer any life threatening health conditions. And the perpetrator is being kept under surveillance.
