A partir de vendredi 11 janvier, la 1ère Edition du Festival de Films Trans de Paris, à découvrir sur trois jours, un programme réjouissant fait quasi exclusivement de raretés et d'inédits pour aborder d’importants enjeux : la construction de l’identité, le lien entre genre, corps et sexe, l’appartenance à une minorité, l’identité trans au sein des luttes queer et féministes, l’accès à l’emploi, l’immigration, l’activisme identitaire…
Au cinéma L'Archipel (17 bd de Strasbourg, Paris 10ème M° Strasbourg St-Denis) avec en invitée d'honneur Bambi.

Le Festival identit est né de la volonté de combler l’absence de représentations respectueuses de l’identité et de la culture trans.

New trans legal clinic kicks off Jan. 16
Massachusetts Transgender Legal Advocates, a new legal clinic serving low-income transgender people, kicks off with a celebration at JRI Health headquarters Jan. 16. The following evening the clinic holds its first session at the offices of Cambridge Cares about AIDS (CCA), and the clinic will hold regular sessions the third Thursday of every month. The clinic is a collaboration between CCA's TransCEND (Transgender Care and Education Needs Diversity) program, which does HIV prevention and health education work in the transgender community, the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC), and AIDS Action Committee.
