Iniciativa pide que la sanidad pública asuma las operaciones de cambio de sexo
El candidato de la coalición Bloc-Iniciativa-Verds al Senado por Castellón Carles Mulet defendió este lunes que se adopten un conjunto de medidas políticas "para garantizar que las personas transexuales normalicen su situación y la sanidad pública asuma las operaciones de reasignación de sexo". Así, Mulet demandó que el proceso integral de reasignación de sexo entre en el sistema estatal de salud, "incluyendo, por tanto, el tratamiento de atención psicoterapéutica para el diagnóstico y apoyo, los tratamientos hormonales y endocrinológicos periódicos y las diversas intervenciones, con la creación de las unidades específicas necesarias".

Local trans murder victim identified, Fort Lauderdale sees similar shooting death

The Detroit Police Department announced that the body found dumped near the intersection of Canfield and Ellery streets on Detroit's East Side was that of Michael Dionthe Sweeney. Between The Lines has also learned that the victim was more commonly known by the name of Ashley and will, henceforth, refer to her as such.
