El Gobierno español apuesta formalmente por la despatologización de la transexualidad
El Gobierno español ha aprobado hoy en Consejo de Ministros una declaración institucional con motivo de la celebración, el 17 de mayo, del Día Internacional contra la Homofobia y Transfobia. En ella, el Gobierno de José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero anuncia su intención de solicitar a la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) la eliminación de la transexualidad de su Clasificación Internacional de Enfermedades y de su consideración como tal en los manuales especializados de referencia.

Unas 35.000 personas participaron ayer sábado en la celebración de la marcha del Orgullo LGTB de Bruselas (Bélgica).
