No dia 17 de maio, a PATH vai estar nas ruas em Coimbra!

A Plataforma Anti-Transfobia e Homofobia (PATH) foi criada em janeiro de 2011 com o objetivo de organizar a Marcha contra a Homofobia e Transfobia em Coimbra a 17 de maio.

Composta por várias organizações não-governamentais e pessoas singulares, e empenhada em combater a bifobia, a homofobia, a intersexofobia, a lesbofobia, a polifobia e a transfobia, a PATH vem agora convidar todas as organizações e pessoas interessadas no combate à discriminação a participar na 3ª Marcha de Luta contra a Bifobia, Homofobia, Intersexofobia, Lesbofobia, Polifobia e Transfobia.

A par das Marchas do Orgulho em Lisboa e no Porto, esta Marcha em Coimbra é um evento de grande visibilidade na luta contra o preconceito e a exclusão com base na orientação sexual e identidade de género, constituindo-se também como motivo de celebração pelo reconhecimento e pela solidariedade que tem vindo a consolidar.

Sabendo que este é um momento particularmente importante na história da ação coletiva e da democracia em Portugal, a PATH espera contar com a tua presença naquele que é já um marco do ativismo LGBT a nível nacional.

Transgender Student Sues University of Arkansas
By all accounts, Jennifer Braly is a good student.
