ASSASSINATO DE HOMOSSEXUAIS (LGBT) NO BRASIL: RELATÓRIO 2014
O Grupo Gay da Bahia (GGB) divulga mais um Relatório Anual de Assassinatos de Homossexuais no Brasil relativo a 2014. Foram documentados 326 mortes de gays, travestis e lésbicas no Brasil, incluindo 9 suicídios. Um assassinato a cada 27 horas. Um aumento de 4,1 % em relação ao ano anterior (313).

O corpo de um jovem foi encontrado na manhã desta segunda-feira (12) na Comunidade Gustavo Nascimento, bairro Cidade de Deus, na Zona Leste de Manaus. De acordo com a Polícia Militar, a vítima, que aparentava ter entre 17 e 18 anos de idade, foi espancada até a morte. A polícia acredita que a vítima era travesti.

O corpo de um homem ainda não identificado foi localizado na manhã desta segunda-feira caído as margens da Rodovia dos Imigrantes, nas proximidades do bairro Capão Grande, em Várzea Grande. O rapaz usava roupas femininas e foi atingido por três disparos de arma de fogo.
O corpo do travesti foi localizado por populares que passaram pela rodovia e acionaram a polícia. Até o momento não há informações sobre o horário ou quem poderia ser o autor do homicídio.
