Figures show an increase in homophobic and transphobic hate crimes
Hate crimes against gay and transgender people in Gloucestershire have risen according to new figures.
Victims reported almost 80 such crimes last year in the county with several areas such as Gloucester and the Forest of Dean seeing a rise in attacks.

Many did not identify Patricia Dludlu as he appeared in court yesterday dressed as a man.
This was the first time she made a public appearance without her wig and women’s clothing. The teacher, who once alleged that she had a sex change operation, was recently re-arrested for another case of allegedly sexually abusing a 25 year old man. Dludlu is currently in custody.

Court gives 17-year-old teenage girl the right to become a man
A court has granted a teenage girl the right to start hormone treatment so she can become a male.
The 17-year-old's treatment means all female aspects of puberty, including ovulation and menstruation, will be stopped and she will develop masculine attributes such as facial hair and a deep voice.
